Reinhold Hoffmann - Guitar Compared to the others Reinhold obtained no education in music. He learned guitar on his own. In the early 70s he founded with friends his first band BluesMachine. Later in his college days he played in the band Albatross not only guitar but learned to concert and what it means to get a sound across. SAMBA PA TI, WALK DON'T RUN and WIPE OUT are still his classics today. In the mid 80s he dropped out of music. 20 years later during his job in US he inevitably got in touch with Rock, Blues and Country music, stepped in again and brought back home his experiences. In US he bought a Gretsch Tennessee Rose, a Gibson Class 5, a Fender HSS Strat and a Telecaster but sometimes he unpacks his old Yamaha SG 35 from 1973 and he still uses his HH IC100 Combo amp from 1974 today. |
